Stetra Board

DESCRIPTION

Stetra Board is a universal tile backer board made of polyurethane, reinforced on both sides with a technical coating.
This structure results in a product that is lightweight yet rigid, and resistant to water, thermal, and chemical stresses common in tile installations.
The printed grid surface allows easy cutting to size, and the board can be fixed to walls using adhesive or special screws—providing an excellent base for tile mortar application.

APPLICATION

Stetra Board is designed to create waterproof tiled substrates in damp indoor environments or protected outdoor areas. It is ideal for:
● shower walls and bathtub surrounds, niches, vanity tops, and bathroom furniture;
● straight or curved partition walls on wood, metal, or masonry frames;
● countertops, shelving, and other tiled structural elements.
The board can be bonded with rapid-setting mortar on smooth walls or mechanically spot-fixed depending on the flatness of the surface and type of substrate. When properly sealed with joint tapes or profiles, it becomes part of a low-profile waterproofing system, ready for direct tile installation.
