PlenaFire B

DESCRIPTION
PlenaFire B is a synthetic waterproof and breathable membrane with patented technology. It is classified as fire reaction class B s1 d0.
This membrane consists of a glass fibre reinforcement layer, combined on the internal side with a breathable waterproof film and a polypropylene nonwoven fabric. On the external face, a special intumescent graphite-based compound is applied, which delays flame propagation and protects the underlying layers.
PlenaFire B is designed for use with any type of insulation in ventilated façade systems. Its dark, non-printed surface makes it particularly suitable for open-joint cladding systems. It is also highly recommended for pitched roof applications beneath photovoltaic panels.
The membrane is certified Broof (t2, t3, t4), complies with EN 13859-1 and EN 13859-2, and carries the CE and UKCA mark.
PlenaFire B has been tested in accordance with UNI EN 14135:2005 to determine its ability to protect underlying materials during fire exposure. The membrane met the standard’s criteria for a duration of 8 minutes.
It also holds a W1 classification under EN 13859-1 and EN 13859-2, offering maximum water resistance in line with regulatory requirements.

APPLICATION
PlenaFire B is ideal for use in ventilated facade systems and pitched roofs under photovoltaic panels, delivering optimal waterproofing and breathability. With its Bs1d0 fire rating, it is suitable for residential, public, and commercial buildings, where it contributes to ensuring fire safety.
