PlenaFire Paint

DESCRIPTION
PlenaFire Paint is a patented water-based intumescent coating developed to enhance the fire reaction of joints and construction details in various insulation systems.
Its advanced formulation, when properly applied, helps maintain the B-s1,d0 fire reaction rating, improving passive fire protection at critical points of the building envelope.
PlenaFire Paint complies with EN 13859-1.

APPLICATION
PlenaFire Paint is intended for use on joints, overlaps, and discontinuities in insulation systems—areas where consistent fire performance must be ensured. In particular:

• with PlenaFire membranes: used as an adhesive on overlaps, it enhances mechanical bonding and ensures functional continuity across the assembly, especially regarding fire reaction;
• on mineral wool or EPS sandwich panels: used in industrial processes on joints or critical extrusion points, PlenaFire Paint increases the panel’s overall fire resistance and optimizes system behavior in fire scenarios.
