PlenaFire B

DESCRIPTION
PlenaFire B is a patented synthetic waterproof and breathable membrane, classified with a fire reaction rating of Bs1d0.
It consists of a fiberglass mesh base, combined on the inner side with a breathable waterproof film and a polypropylene nonwoven fabric (TNT). The outer side is coated with a special expandable graphite compound, which slows flame spread and provides effective protection for underlying materials.
PlenaFire B is designed for use with all types of insulation in ventilated facade assemblies. Thanks to its dark, unprinted surface, it is particularly suitable for open-joint systems. It can also be used under photovoltaic panels on pitched roofs.
The membrane is certified Broof T2, T3, T4, compliant with EN 13859-1 and EN 13859-2, and carries both CE and UKCA markings. It has passed the fire protection capability test in accordance with UNI EN 14135:2005, demonstrating its ability to shield underlying materials from damage during fire exposure. PlenaFire B met the test criteria for a duration of 8 minutes.
It is also rated W1 according to EN 13859-1 and EN 13859-2, guaranteeing the highest level of water resistance under current standards.

APPLICATION
PlenaFire B is ideal for use in ventilated facade systems and pitched roofs under photovoltaic panels, delivering optimal waterproofing and breathability. With its Bs1d0 fire rating, it is suitable for residential, public, and commercial buildings, where it contributes to ensuring fire safety.
