Roofing | Vapor Barriers | PlenaGlass 1100 P (GLASS 1100 P)
DESCRIPTION
PlenaGlass 1100 P is a multilayer membrane composed of a talc surface layer, a perforated fiberglass mat, and a polyethylene film, bonded together with a high-performance bituminous compound.
This combination of materials ensures good dimensional stability and adequate tensile strength, making it suitable for load-bearing applications.
The fiberglass layer provides structural continuity, while the polyethylene film acts as a protective barrier. The membrane also offers good handling properties and is easy to install on site.
APPLICATION
PlenaGlass 1100 P is designed to be used as a sacrificial layer beneath bituminous membranes in flat roofs. It is recommended for use in two- or multi-layer bituminous roofing systems as a base for waterproofing membranes or where a protective or separating layer is required between the substrate and the main membrane. PlenaGlass 1100 P helps preserve the integrity of the waterproofing system, facilitates the installation of subsequent layers, and improves the overall durability of the roofing build-up.
