Roofing | Vapor Barriers | PlenaGlass 800 PE (GLASS 800 PE)
DESCRIPTION
PlenaGlass 800 PE is a membrane consisting of a perforated fiberglass mat laminated on both sides with polyethylene film using a special bituminous compound. This multilayer structure ensures good dimensional stability and effective protection of the substrate during the installation of the waterproofing system. The dual polyethylene film enhances surface resistance and on-site handling, while the perforated fiberglass provides a solid base for the adhesion of upper layers.
APPLICATION
PlenaGlass 800 PE is designed to be used as a sacrificial layer beneath bituminous membranes in flat roofs, suitable for both new builds and refurbishment projects. It is intended for use in multilayer bituminous waterproofing systems, in flat or low-pitched roofs with substrates such as concrete, brick-concrete, or wood—where a physical separation between the substrate and the main waterproofing membrane is required. PlenaGlass 800 PE protects the waterproofing package from mechanical stress from below and supports proper application of the upper layers, contributing to greater system durability.
