DESCRIPTION

PlenaFelt PE 500 is a bituminous vapor control layer made of two layers of polyethylene film and a central polyester nonwoven reinforcement, all bonded using a high-adhesion bituminous compound.
Its specific composition ensures vapor impermeability and mechanical strength, delivering consistent performance over time—even in harsh environmental conditions.

APPLICATION

PlenaFelt PE 500 is designed for use as a vapor control layer in discontinuous pitched roofs and can be installed over wooden decking or as part of a warm roof build-up with double decking.
The PE film provides an effective barrier against upward vapor migration from indoor environments, contributing to the protection of thermal insulation and the preservation of its long-term performance.
